BECKETT BROWN INTERNATIONAL, INC., Annapolis, MD
November 1995 - February 1998

Vice President, Technical Services
Directed the Technical Services Group. Performed security surveys of commercial and industrial complexes and designed and developed technical surveillance countermeasures and physical and technical security programs to include integrated intrusion detection and access control systems, CCTV systems, gates and barriers. Among the systems was one for the world’s largest winery, E & J Gallo. Also provided technical support to the investigative functions of the firm.
 

UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE, Washington, DC
July 1969 - October 1995

Assistant Division Chief, Technical Security Division
Throughout entire career with the U. S. Secret Service, worked on the design and development of technical security equipment and systems. Completed a prestigious career with the Secret Service by serving over ten years as the Assistant Division Chief of the Technical Security Division. Considered the Secret Service’s technical expert, was responsible for the development of new systems and equipment in the areas of physical security, technical security, technical surveillance countermeasures, hazardous materials countermeasures and investigative support. Was also instrumental in the development and installation of access control systems, intrusion detection systems, crash resistant gates and barriers, and other physical security equipment at the White House, Presidential residences and protective sites. Was the U. S. Secret Service’s technical representative on numerous interagency committees pertaining to security and technology.
 

NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, Washington, DC
June 1966 - July 1969

Electronic Engineer
Worked on the design, development and implementation of avionics communications transmitters, receivers and transceivers, pilot crash survival transmitters and aircraft automated carrier landing systems. Wrote technical specifications, selected the developer or manufacturer, monitored contract progress, and coordinated with those responsible for integration of the equipment into the various designated classes of naval aircraft.
